We got it running, my buddy forgot to tell me that he ran it out of gas. It seems to smoke a little and it smells like fuel. I took it out and drove it and it backfires every once and a while when you are throttling up. It seems a little sluggish ,but not bad. This is the first time I've got a real chance to mess with it. I haven't checked compression yet.
Does the map sensor w/filter plug into the top vacume port or the bottom port on the back of the TB?
Now I do not have any check engine lights on and it is idleing much better. What should the timing be set at? Also I took the TPS off and was wondering how to set it back to factory position. I can change the idle if I move it back and forth.
