can anyone tell me what this part is? The vacume diagram doesn't show this part and where the two lines go. I think one line goes to the air cleaner and the other to one of the lines on the side of the TB.
Here is a bigger picture.

I replaced the intake, TB, and EGR vlave I put all the parts on and the car won't fire.
I had to splice a new plug for the TPS sensor I just have those twisted together and taped for now. I believe all the vacume lines are hooked up correctly.
The car ran with the wrong TB on it, no map sensor hooked up, TPS rigged, hardly any vacume lines hooked up and I could drive the damn car. I can't get even a hint of fire. What gives? I will have to do more searching and get back with you.
We cleaned the TB out with water adn some cleaner the same for the intake. I've done the same for my camaro and impala when I had to tear them down to replace things. They ran jsut fine afterwards.

What should I look for?

Perform a compression test on all 3 cylinders. Should be around 200 PSI on each cylinder.

not sure why I would need to do a compression test when the car ran before I swapped the intake and TB. I can run a test and see what it is. Granted nothing was hooked up correctly before but it did run. I'm wondering if he changed the timing.
Thanks

haynes manual calls out standard 199 psi for compression on each cylinder, 156 psi is the minimum. Maximum variation between the cylinder is 14.2 psi.

I think that is the A/C VSV. What is the 4th and 5th digits of your VIN?

Let me elaborate on the A/C Vacuum Switch Valve.. That screw controls the idle speed of the a/c... Here is how you adjust it according to the 1991 copyright haynes manual:
1. With the engine operating at normal temp, connect a tachometer and switch the a/c ON.
2. Install the spare fuse into the diagnosis switch terminal.
3. Check and adjust the idle speed by adjusting the A/C VSV idle screw to the proper spec: automatic transaxle 850 + or - 50 rpm, manual transaxle 900 + or - 50 rpm.
4. Remove fuse
5. Adjust the idle speed to the rpm spec (the screw is into the throttle body, the idle speed official chart is on a sticker on the bottom of the hood)

We'll we got the car to fire off but we do not see the injector spraying. We poured some gas in the TB and that's all the gas it was getting. We only had a little bit of time so we didn't get to see if it was pumping fuel but I would assume that the pump is working cause it ran before. I will swap out the injector from the other TB and see if that helps. All the fuses looked good.
