manual steering rack fix?
so, autozone doesnt list a rack for my 91 swift. i've replaced the inner tie rod ends and the outer ends were good, but turning the wheel or going over bumps the whole rack is clunky and its not coming from where it mounts to the car. while the dust boots were off i globbed grease all over the shaft that goes thru the housing and then turned the wheel back and forth. still it clunks. do i need a junkyard piece or is there a way to break these racks down and fix whatever the problem is?
i've finally got the motor running great (hell everything is new cept the bottom end) but i dont wanna be having the wife drive this thing until it can go down the road without sounding like its gonna fall apart.
