Curious as to what you do with the shifter, to cause it to break so many times??? By the way, the shifter locks into position. If you press down on it and turn in clockwise, it unlocks. Anyway, I guess no p/n numbers needed if you purchased an entire shifter assembly.....if you find you still need the plastic pieces as in the diagram, ask - we have p/n's for them - you need to purchase them at Suzuki (which reminds me - it will be FAR easier for you to source whatever dealer parts - or used parts - by indicating that your car is a 1996 Suzuki Sidekick, which, in essence, it really is.)
