When shopping for your "best model year" Sidekick, look for features such as ABS or 4WD. The rear wheel ABS will reduce fishtailing when braking. The 4WD will reduce fishtailing when accelerating.
...or you can buy a Honda CRV like my wife did. No sandbagging or arguing here.
I like my 1993 4x4...I have no idea if it has rear wheel anti-lock brakes. I'm thinking it must, as I've never had trouble with fishtailing while braking.
I haven't really driven my 96 yet, but I'll probably like it more with the 16v ad obd2.

that way all scan tools work, allowing better choices and better diagnosis for life of car.
allowing more up time, and better fuel economy. lower total costs... all.
counter point.
if running a A/T and it fails , in Smog zones they can fail your for OBD2 A/T codes
P07xx and others, CEL on.for A/T
a consideration, if on a bloody smog zone.
no, zero supply... most linger near CAMI, up in Canada, very few in the Southern
states.
i was joking with him, does he really need a CAMI plant made Car?
id bet not,
just joking, i like Santana best, but dang hard to find. no?
i cant spell Awata, but been there. ive been all over JAPAN. (i spelled it 5 times right then 1 page wrong, fixed now)
12.9 km from Yokosuka (usa MIL base)
oop's its Iwata....
Santana very easy to find in Europe. And a bit of a strange set up, as well. The battery area is about six inches wide, and 12+ inches deep (meaning very narrow and extremely tall), and that is the dimensions of the battery, as well. Not possible just to go into an auto parts store and pick one up, so pretty much of a PIA.
When I got the Vitara here, the guy who sold it put a regular battery in it, just to get it here - the regular size battery will not fit into the area, which, on the right hand drive, is just in front of the driver - a very deep, but narrow 'well' for it to sit in. Wonderfully, it is impossible to get the battery here without making a special order - has to come from England. Eck.
