just got a 90 sidekick. Had the motor rebuilt. new rad, tires and alignment. runs great! but got a noise . as I drive along I hear a wop-wop-wop . sounds like it's in the front end. It's softer with the clutch in . I think it's in the brakes? bearings? Drive shaft? help!!
Does the sound speed up or slow down according to how fast you are going? You can try removing the locking hubs from the front wheels, and drive, and see if the wop-wop goes away. Locking hubs can (and should) be serviced and lubricated every year.
And just curious...before you got your new tires and alignment, did you have the noise??
