MUD! Yes, I finally was able to take EL HEFE out on Saturday and we had a BLAST. See pictures below. I even have a few videos I will try to share.

REALIZATION: HEFE is not a freeway vehicle, especially on big hills with the 31" super swampers. He cruises just fine, but it takes awhile to get to 60mph, which is a comfortable max speed for him. Second gear in 2wd seems a little sluggish, but we get through it. I am sure regearing would help, but who cares.... I played in MUD!

This thing is a little mountain goat in 4LOW. Wow! Check out the pictures! :-)

Hey guys, I have been gone for a bit, but wanted to give you an update on EL HEFE....

Well, I bought ANOTHER one!!

This one was a deal I could not pass up. Has the 16v motor with 48K original miles, lifted with 33'x12.5 swampers. I swapped the wheels/tires from the white tracker to the new one. I also swapped the new front end I put on the white one including the front diff, axles and struts.

Went on a fun run up to Crown King, AZ recently and blew one of my swampers on the way home. I also separated another one (DOT 2002). Found a great deal on some 32x11.5x15LT GOODYEAR MTR's (DOT 2012) so picked up 5 of them. Seem like great tires....

Next step is to swap the bumpers and the winch and then SELL the white tracker. Still pretty sweet ride...
