Hey all, new to the site and new to the tracker world.
I have a buddy that owns a machine shop and hoping to get a 2" lift kit machined up.
From what I understand for the 2" spacers lift kit I'll need 4 coil spacers, 2 strut spacers, 1 rear diff spacer. I was wondering if anyone has the dimensions for these parts or if anyone could point me in the direction of getting them.
hi brad j here my 92 sidekick 4dr runs good after getting my rebuilt coumputer reapaired my next project for the spring is a 2" max lift preferable with coils and no spacer to run 235 75 15" tires it is a stock 1992 sidekick 4dr 4x4 1.6 16v are the any coil combantions i could hunt down at the auto wreckers i can search out longer shocks and do some fabing of small parts at work i will need caster bolts and an alingment i would like to stay with the stock alumuin wheels they look good i don't want to go up goat trails (thats why i sold my samurai) is there a benifit to getting ford 0 offset wheels ? thanks brad j
No longer looking for coil spacer dimensions. Now interested in finding out the inner and outter diameters of the coil springs. As in what size tube fits directly down the center of a coil spring. Anybody have any coils laying around they're willing to take some measurements of? That'd be great!
I have some rear 2dr springs... I did 4dr spring upgrade gained 1" front and rear.
I will measure my rear 2dr for you with pictures, but the front springs grew legs and disappeared. Not sure the front would be any different in width though. Have you just considered a simple 2+ body lift? Square 2" tubing with holes drilled and longer bolts and some nuts does it. And with 1" in spring it clears 30/31.
Hey Cody, thanks that'd be great. I plan to do a 2" body and 2" suspension, wanting to get the body mounts machined up as well.
I've been working on some 3d designs for the spacers. Going to make some designs for strut spacers and body mounts too. I'll post up the pictures when I get them done.
