Default 1" lift will it cause any issues

I decided to go for a 1" lift for now on my tracker. Will this cause any issues with the suspension geometry? i read that with 1.5" and up will need new shocks and spacers etc. but with stock shocks will i have any problems?

thanks

Alan

I think as long as the lift is 2" or less, there are no issues. Have you searched the forum? There are plenty of posts on lifts and what is needed, etc.

thanks.

i searched the forum and found the 2" and higher lift concerns several times in my search. i just did not find much information about a 1" lift in any search for concerns or pics of before or after. seems like its not a popular lift as others. so i figured i would ask.

i finished installing the kit noticed all 4 shocks are stretched by 1" hopefully no problems

Is there anything that can be done during the body lift to make the ride better, smoother, etc? What about using urthene bushings vs the solid ones? What about adding some rubber washers?

If the lift kit didn't come with brake lines, I would do a quick check to make sure the original brake lines aren't stretched or pulled tight when the suspension is at maximum travel.

Your question is so different to the original thread that it merits a thread of it's own.

A body lift is a set of spacer blocks that fit between the body and the chassis - there isn't much you can do there that will improve the ride.
