Just called about an A/C for the Kick. Manager sez 150 for everything. Any tips on installation hangups? I've done a lot of AC work in the past so the basics should be easy i.e. flush, oil, new dryer, check compressor and clutch PRIOR to bolting on. Donor is a '96 Kick 1.6, 2WD. My gem is a '98 Kick, 4X4, 4dr, 1.6, 16 v., 5 speed.
Also, different PS/AC belt and adjustment. You may need the '96 heater control panel AC switch if you don't have one (probably don't). When at the JY always get more than you think you need, especially fasteners.

Yeah Dave, plan ta grab everything that's not Furd GM or Chrysler. Control panel is cracked so need a "new" one anyhow. Solenoids, Sensors here I come. Lower pulley is comin' with me. Ducting, radiator, and fans (if electric). Makin' a list, checkin' it twice.
only one,
dont ever force the clutch on the compressor
that is never hot wire, it, let the A/C AMP LOGIC protect the system.
hi/lo switch do not bypass that either.
that is it,
see full 98 schematic here (electric) air-conditioner-repair
