They stock it at my local Wal-Mart out here on the left coast.

The BITOG threads with used oil analysis I read are here:

G.E.T. G 5w30, 10,053 miles, 96 Volvo 850 Turbo - Bob Is The Oil Guy

G-Oil 5w30, 2005 Ford Explorer 4.0 5k - Bob Is The Oil Guy

I don't know about long term effects, but the UOA looked good, and it's at least as good as conventional motor oil.

It's a group V oil, API certified and the Blackstone Labs analysis came out fine, so what's not to trust?

It's going into my Saturn sedan without any hesitation in 2500 miles when my other oil expires, and I can't wait to run it. I've heard nothing but good reports on it.

Thats fine if you choose to use it. I don't. Money is not that tight where I can't supply proven new oil for my car.

quality is also consistency. only time tells that...
if you stick with top brands you get that.
the NAME really does have value with a long history behind it.
oil = religion.
a wasted topic.
