The cord on the other end has only 4 connectors. I guess for park, left, right, turn signals both turns for brake and the other is ground?

I'm looking to either buy a hitch or have one made for my Tracker.

I was wondering if I could just have a welder cut off the stock round tube that is right below the bumper and weld in a long square tubing and weld a short square receiver perpendicular to it?
If I were to try and remove the stock round tube are the nuts that hold it on welded inside the frame?

Thanks

Had the chance to do some with my trailer. Bought a Rick of wood.
The poor Tracker does not have any power

I am so used to my G8 GT

All I had to do is to go 6 miles and deal with a steep hill.
Anyway, it did the work.

I once towed 1,000 liters of water on a trailer with mine. The car performed great, and was only defeated when I tried reversing the load up an incline...

Quinton, by the way, you don't have to cut that round tube off - it should be attached with 2 or 3 bolts on either side. I bought a direct fit trailer hitch, when I got mine - just bolted on.
