Default Limited slip differential

1996 Geo Tracker AT 2dr 4X4
Was positraction available as an option for these cars? I have had situations where the car has spun one or the other back wheel on very rough ground. But after a second attempt I hear a very signifgant clunk and both rear wheels start to drive. It seems that one wheel needs to rotate two to three times before it locks. Is there a locker that works that way? I don't know, I know positrack doesn't work that way. The wheels also rotate too far before they lock so that it is not a Fozzy locker. The car doesn't bind on a tight circle on pavement. It seemed to when I first got it but doesn't now. It recently seems to lock a little faster without the big clunk. The car had a 2" Calmini lift in it when I bought it so someone may have put a locker in. Any guesses? BTW there is no clicking when making a turn on pavement which would be an indication of one type of locker I think.
Thanks

Doesn't sound like a factory LSD, if you did have one of those then there would be a sticker on the diff.

Ahhh!! So they would put a sticker on the diff if there was one installed at the factory. Would that be an aluminum sticker under one of the diff bolts or a tab welded on the housing??

Its a yellow sticker next to the filler plug that says 'Use LSD oil only', the stickers seem quite durable and are usually still there.

I got no yellow sticker so either I have nothing or a locker a PO has put in.
