Cool Help 1995 Geo Tracker ignition starter problem

Hello,

My 1995 tracker will not start. There is no noise of any kind. Its like the car has dead battery accept all other things such as radio lights etcc all work great. It has a brand new battery installed.

I was checking the fuses to get the interior light to work and after that it would not start????

I feel like it is something electrical and i dont have the fuse diagram to say what fuses run what.

Any ideas and suggestions are welcome.

Thank you.

No noise of any kind - With the key on, does the check engine light go on? What tranny do you have? Both manual and auto have safety switches which prevent the car from starting if they are not depressed. Make sure that your battery terminals are clean, too.
You can also try hitting the starter to see if you can get it to spin.
Also try jumping the small faston connector to the starter red cable lug, and see if you can get the car to crank (key off and out of ignition). If you still get no cranking/starting, then the solenoid could be bad.
A photo of your fuse box:

what transmission?
no car spec, no schematic (my schematic pages show the distribution on 95) just look there.
but this drawing works for both (see bottom of page)
