Symptom: A good bit of 'jerk' in transition from decel to accel, like the driveline had a whole lot of slop in it. No TBI stumble, tach didn't jerk..it just felt sloppy.
Separately, a surging idle problem was resolved by cleaning the ICS. Idle is fine now..up about 150RPM when lights or blower is turned on.
Set the TPS switch, that transition was way off the mark.
The unintended part? The 'jerk' is gone! Decel to accel transition is smooth as butt'a now.
While the symptom could have more than one cause (like an honestly sloppy driveline), if another rig has a similar symptom, making sure your ICS works like it should and a TPS calibration might be helpful.
Hope this is helpful to someone.
Cheers!

No, its is the idle switch circuit (or idle speed controller) that is run by the ECU for the idle. This is what keeps your idle at a constant, even with accessories on, among other things. EFI-sensor-theory
(And frankly, if idle is off, it is rarely because an adjustment is needed on the idle control screw - usually other stuff).

I guess he meant ISC then instead of ICS, my goodness, I thought there wasn't much to these trackers!
