I have wires with plugs under the dash, passenger side, not plugged into anything...4 prong -blue with pink/black strpe,blue/red strpe, pink, and blue wires....2 prong-pink and black wires.....4 prong with green/black stripe, red/black stripe, black, blue/white stripe wires.
any help is appreciated.
These plugs and their location suggest that it is the air conditioning harness - or where the air conditioning harness would be connected.
Hi, allmost all wiring harneses have unused plugs. It doesn"t matter weather it is a Suki, Ford ,or what ever. These unused plugs are mostly for options that can be had when your suv was built. Ie. power locks, rear defrost, air con.ect. Almost all manufactures use one wireing harness for an entire line of the same make and model of suv or car. It is a matter of economics and is cheaper to have just one harenes than to have different ones for each model of the same make.

AC does not work....prior to last night the fan only worked on high....the motor was unplugged....but filled with leaves. Cleaned it all out, put it back, no worky. It's obvious were some of them go, but was perplexed about the free plugs.

Ok, so the fan don't work. Does it still work on one speed? Or not at all?
the fan has a resistor bank , wire wound resistor (for speeds) that plugs into the
fan house( the fan cools its own resistors, symbiotic , nice huh)
so first things fires. as grc1 says, there are tons of spare option parts. on all harnesses call cars.
so , no fan ,NO A/C , "would joe suzuki let your core freeze ?" no !"
the fan had worked...only on high, of course the plug was not plugged. Plugged it in, we got all speeds. Put it together, nothing. I will check the fuse box to see if any are blowned. The clowns that had the truck before us had looked for the fuel relay on both sides of the dash...a total mess.
