A few Newb ?'s

Hey guys,

I got a few Questions, tried searching but couldnt find anything.

1) When im driving, I will push the gas pedal down say 70%. I will feel a small kick and the engine seems to struggle. Kindah feels like it loses power or something. Any ideas? (Ive changed, plugs, wires, oil, gear oils)

2) The old owner put a K&N air filter cone on my 95 4 door 4x4 sidekick Jx. The guy put the Mass Air Flow sensor in the actual cone. He drilled a hole and siliconed around it. The craftsmanship of it is pretty good but why did he do it?

3) Biggest tires on a stock setup? 235/75/15???

4) What is the biggest bang for buck mod for this truck?

See the sticky?? Please post more info about your car, year, tranny, 2 or 4wd, 8 or 16v, etc., etc.

One thing I can answer, 235/75/15 might rub when fully extended, so to be safe, largest tire on stock would be 225/75/15. But you'll lose some mpg with the bigger tire (plenty of posts on this).

Maybe 'biggest bang for buck' would be suspension/body lift.

For the other stuff, need more info on your car.
