if somehing shorts and stays shorted , its a piece of cake to find.
but if intermittant, real hard.

start with fresh Electrolytic caps in ECU or a spare ECU.
examine the whole Blue-black bus, as he said he is doing.

im sorry this feed dont go to the rear of car.
its the FI buss.

isolate FI buss feed and find the short. Unplug all loads 1 at a time.
look at every end of the harnesses for this feed for chaffing.
its just copper and vinyl. the buss.
