Help, In need of lower timing gear...Will swap!

I have a 1996 Geo Tracker 1.6l 16 Valve SOHC 4 door auto, America. I ordered a lower timing gear (belt driven) for what I thought was this particular engine. This gear appears that it would fit with the exception of not having the little star on the back of it for the crank position sensor. After doing some research it appears that this could be for the 8 valve engine perhaps. This gear is brand new and in the packaging with an invoice, they will not allow me to return the gear as I ordered the wrong part (lame I know). I paid 40 dollars for this gear. Does anyone need this gear and have the right one to trade me for it. The gear I have is part number 12631-53b00. The gear I need is part number 12630-57b01.

your 96 is the first year with crank sensor, so you bought 95 part. and is wrong.
