Engine Wiring Diagram

I bought a 1992 Geo Tracker and about a week afterwards the motor blew. Friend of mine said a 1997 motor would work in it, but I dont have the wiring diagram. Help?

If you search this forum, this question has been answered by people with greater experience than me. However, from my novice view, there are important changes between 92 and 97, primarily the ECU system (OBD1 for 92, OBD2 for 97) and you would need a different ECU than what is on your 92 car. There are additional sensors on the 97, which presumably will come with your engine swap, but your 92 ECU will not be able to read them.

you never said what motor and drive line the target veh. was.?

92's come in many flavors.
no emails, all get to participate. (i can send drawings yes)\

ok 1992 tracker with a xValve motor, with a x speed tranny , 4wd, x door?
put into profile or sig. so we dont have to ask or read 100 post to find out.

oh and what country. or state.?

every country has diff cars and diff access to free information.

asking for help with no facts is impossible.

a full swap over is big work with full swap of harness and ECU.
