Welcome and please accept this friendly advice. One, read the sticky for newbies. Two, the answer to your question is at: The KickFix Repair Pages, for Sidekicks and Trackers
It's about a third of the way down the first page.

Default trouble codes

A search for trouble codes at Ack's FAQ (see link in signature, below) will get you an article that details what the blink patterns mean.

I hope that this helps!

Code 12 means that ECU is working ok. However, as your light was out, it is a good idea to reset the ECU. You do this by removing the dome fuse for a minute and then replacing it. Do that, and see if your CEL is still flashing. It shouldn't be, and I think it was flashing only because you finally put the lamp in. Once lamp is in, you can do real code test by following instructions on The KickFix Repair Pages, for Sidekicks and Trackers pages.

Eck, if I was newbie and read this, I would have absolutely freaked out. Made my heart skip even though I've been here a while.....Wish I could find little icon of someone throwing up. Was how I felt at your first sentence....
