Default Which hose goes here? Last piece of the puzzle.

NEVERMIND - friend suggested that it is the fuel pressure regulator and that the return line goes there. Started digging and I found the return line tucked away, with a piece of blue tape with the correct number on it. Thanks previous owner!

Below is a picture of the throttle body on my 89 1.6 8V Fed48. I need to know what connects to the fitting where the red arrow is pointing. The green arrow shows a hose that looks like it will reach (can't find any others in the area that will), but that hose appears to be the vent tube for the front differential. Connecting a vent tube to any part of the engine does not make sense to me. Can someone please clarify what needs to connect to the fitting with the red arrow?

I have looked at the vacuum diagram under the hood and also at detailed vacuum diagrams from ARRC but cannot figure out what this device is or what should connect to it.

Ignore the blue tape, that is from the previous owner trying to mark things for reassembly, unfortunately by the time I got it most of the tape was gone!

i got an 89 fsm , right here.

do not hook up the red arrow until you are sure.
this Fuel pump regulator sends vast quantities of fuel back to the gas tank.

so, all you have to do is, look.
look at the 3 lines to the tanks, see em.
one is pressure , goes to TB rear port.
one is return, goes to Red arrow above , DO NOT GUESS , DANGER !!!!!!!!!!!!
last is vent for tank (goes to evap canister)

this system is under huge pressures. 35psi, (not like a carb at all at 5psi)

cool a basket case.
we love em.

there are axle vents , NO
there is tranny vent, NO
there are EVAP vents, NO.

what more things are hangine.

the vents had ,plastic caps new ,keeping out bug.
but they get lost (caps) and look like they are missing. typical , basket.

ok attached is the fuel feed and return dwg.

hose 27 goes to pipe 7 , then hose 28 then to tank vent return.

no way else.
