Does anyone know where I might get one or two of these "wavy washers" that go behind the spindle nut(as a locking device) on a 1997 Sidekick/Tracker? The Geo Tracker FSM calls it a anti-rotation spring. I have already called all over the country and most dealers cannot even identify it. All they see in a parts book is a locking ring that goes on the outside of the spindle nut. They seem to doubt it's existance but I am holding one in my hand that I have broken one of the tabs off of. HELP PLEASE.
I think it's a Pico wave washer?? Like on this link at Amazon?? Amazon.com: Pico 9246K 10mm Metric Wave Washer 8... If that's what you're looking for, they come in all different (metric) sizes. Maybe someone else knows exactly where else to get them.
Thanks but it is a different type washer. Local GM dealer found them for me at GM parts warehouse in Memphis, 52 in stock, $63 apiece. Guess I'll just get one.
Thanks all. I have found the "anti-rotation spring." GM parts dealer found them for me at GM Memphis. $63 apiece. (Not a missprint) $63. Anything cheaper would be appreciated. The GM part number for a " anti-rotation spring" is 91173463.

Try SW Suzuki... they probably can get it. It might be 1 of those odd "Geo only' things, but if you can get the GM part # SW can cross reference it I think. That or give Hawks a shout, they'd probably have a good used & maybe can get new as well.
