So i recently took the factory cruse control off my 95 kicker..... I know it is incorperated into my rigs vaccum system but where ? I was wondering if anyone knew where the cruse control get is vaccum from? I'm guessing that is open sence I have never done anything with it....
I would install a T fitting at the brake booster hose.
The hose is large enough to get a good volume. Any other fitting is too small and could affect the accuracy for any vacuum activated sensor.
The other way, is drilling a hole on the intake manifold to install a decent fitting but you need to pull the Manifold to avoid metal shavings been dumped in the Intake.
im still looking, cruise is seperate section in fsm and the vacuum , if any is not shown in the main drawings. PL or on main vacuum pages.
suz. and gm treat the cruise like a , forgotten orphan child. not even indexed. but is in section 9B. (missing 9B in my 95FSM, cute)
the 8 pages never once mention vacuum and all the parts are electric and the drive is a motor and does not use vacuum to drive a throttle servo.
nor does it sense vacuum.
the Cruise control module (brain) senses the VSS sender. (veh.speed sensor)
the cruise control motor has a clutch and is not engaged until you activate cruise.
ok , tell my why you want cruise to use vacuum?
that vauum would need to go to the Cruise controller in some fashion
but as you see the controller has only wires , so it might have a vacuum sensor but alais it does not.
FSM on flee bay is only a paltry $25.
did you check logo plates, maybe its NON OEM,
NOT STOCK, not factory supplied.
in whole or part.
