Turn Signals Not Working!!!

I have a 94 Geo Tracker, turn signals stopped working but the hazards work. Is there a different relay for the turn signals or is the hazard relay used for them.What steps should i take to troubleshoot this problem. Thanks in advance.

Did you check the fuses?

The turn signals and the backup lights are on a shared fuse. Check this fuse before proceeding. This fuse is separate from the hazards.

My '91 Tracker had a short on the backup switch wire (8v, manual transx). I had to pull the wires off the connector on the transx and tape them up carefully with black electrical tape. Works fine now.
