Default radiator cap pressure

i just bought a new radiator cap. The shop gave me a 1.1 pressure value. My old one was 0.9. I dont know which one is correct for my G16B. 97 vitara JLX.

bar pressure.

in your country , higher is better. but 16 psi is way over spec. spec is 12.psi
but stop, why not call the suzuki dealer and ask the parts department.
after all cars very by country and market.
there are 93 markets.

thanks. ive contacted the dealer and they said the new model Grand Vitara uses 1.1 bar. They are not sure with the 97 models but they say since the cooling system for the 97 and the 2009 models are similar, I can use the 1.1.

if the hoses are 97 , id run the lower pressure.

with proper Antifreeze boil point is way high.

259F at 50% and 12psi, add only 8 degrees for 16psi
id run lower. on it.

our 97s run 16.

so you can go lower .
