Default how do I tell

So my tranny is getting harder to shift and I was wondering if its the syncro's or the clutch or if there is a way to tell witch is going bad.
I did the1 inch test and it moves
also I have a brand new oe clutch cable on it....

explain,
shifting in neutral in driveway with no clunk sound?
driving, up shifts? what gears have issues.
drive down shifts, same

have you tried my zero pedal ply trick?
zero it out. then shift, if it improves the shifting the clutch is bad. (dont matter what its all inside the bell)

you did not say what harder means.
can mean lots of things.
cant at all.
takes tad more force.
grinds.
screams like banchee, (bearings shot)

in driveway

Can move to all gears small clunk going into 1st

driving \
up shift good most of time.... some times at fast acc. going from 1 to 2nd and 2nd to 3rd it grinds a little ( mainly when the wife drives.

I can only down shift at low speeds mainly from 3rd down if I come to a normal stop and down shift the whole way it does a lot of grinding I have been using breakes instead of down shifting lately...

double clutching help the grinding

will try the zero trick later today

bad cluch
but try that zero play, this can force the pressure plate fingers a little more and get clutch to fully disengage.

can be cracked disc, warped plate, heat damaged PP fingers due to hot running throw out bearing (or it is siezed)

the only purpose to over drive the PP , is to demonstrate tranny is good.
it does show that, then , its is peace of mind, just a bad clutch.

hope its something cheap and easy.
cheers.

I hope its cheap also... but today I talked to a dude that is scraping a tracker. I was organally looking for a head light and grill.... he said for 50 bucks I can have the tranny, transfercase, head light, grill and what ever else I want off the rig... I'm varry happy. I plan on getting as much off it I can .
