I flat tow my 1995 sidekick with no problems. Sidekicks and Trackers are basicly the same.
The owners manual has instructions. (Manual hubs are prefered.)
NOTE: You can NOT flat tow the 2 wheel drive automatic. It requires a driveline disconnect or being put on a dolly BACKWARDS. (Rear wheels off the ground.)
You didn't say if it is an automatic or standard. If it is an auto you place it in park and the transfer case in neutral. Stop every few hundred miles and start the vehicle.
