Regarding the temperature control for your climate control system, the best thing to do is stick your head down by pedals, and look for the various cables feeding the heater distribution box. Then watch and listen as you move each of the heater and ac controls, and especially the temperature control-you should be able to easily spot the problem. The cable either needs adjusting, or it has something like a floor mat or carpet blocking the full travel of the mechanism.

sounds easy enough ill give it a try.

anyone ever fix the door hinge, were the bolts start to come out of the body from rusting and cause the doors to sage? any good ideas to fix that?

yours asking how to fix a hinge ,that the bolts hold on and these bolts
go into the body and afix to body imbedded nuts.?
this nuts or the area sorruounding them has failed due to rust.?

you need a body man (shop). that is difficult area to repair.
if the metals gone, its gone.
only solution is to replace the metal.

one could cut out a good section from a wreck, and then take it to your car
and do a rev. cut of same and tack it in with tig weld and then finish it.

that is a hard question.
the answer is yes and no.

what parts.?
there are 1000s of parts,
body, trim, driveline, suspension, motor, tranny , axles, gearsets,

some are, some arent.
no one has a list of every new part ,for each newer year.

but ask a specific question. and get an answer.

no list.
harness and ECU's vastly diff. motors must both be 16v. (you never ID the motor)

IN 96 many of the splines in the drive line changed. so that is an issue.

many diff. trim parts, many suttle body changes.
the 97 many have ABS and that is diff. diff brakes, diff hub parts, etc.
the 97 will have Airbags, this changes lots of things.

that is an idea
