Default Vitara billowing blue smoke

Hi guys! I need your advice again. Before I have my Vitara overhauled for billowing blue smoke especially when going up on slope terrain, as advised by my mechanic, what is the cause of this and what part(s) need replacement, if any? I just had this changed oil a couple of weeks ago including engine tune up but both didn't solved the problem. Pls. help. Thank u.

white , oil
gray , rich.
black , super rich.

only you can smell the cloud.

also white smoke that lingers is oil, if it disapates fast like a teapot its steam

EFI or carb , what kind of VIT , they make like 50 diff, models.

what year.
clean the PCV valve and the tubes and ports that feed it.
do that 1st thing, its in the maintenance schedules.

I thought...

Blue/Steele Gray Smoke was Oil
White is Water/Coolant
Black is too much Fuel

If is blueish, I think is burning oil.

Pull the Spark Plugs for signs of caked oil on them, or wetness. If you have a bad PCV valve can suck the oil from the Cylinder Head.

Another cause for that is bad Maintenance Practices, Abuse / Negligence or just excessive mileage.

PS... Too much oil in the exhaust can kill the Catalytic Converter, so expect to replace that too.

But I am more inclined that you have a bad PCV valve.
Do what Jerry said 1st.

that is the "published color check" VG !
but, all I see is black and white and shades of gray.
never seen anyone who could decern shades of blue in white. (much less explain them)

so i like the :remains white and tea pot analogy" , old school way.
just maybe:
that's way the news reporter gets it wrong,
flash:
car fire on the freeway. no , that is just a tea pot.

no matter.

thanks for the replies. i actually had the intake and exhaust valves replaced including valve guides. aside from the smoke, the engine was producing strange noise from inside so when the engine was overhauled, there were problems with the valves and guides and the oil was leaking inside them. there is still smoke after replacement but it's now grayish. according to the mechanic, there's some oil left inside and the exhaust as a result of the leak and it may take days before it dries up. until then, there will still be smoke. I'm not quite sure if this is true though.
