Wow. Video makes this look so easy. And all those cool tools!! So, where can I get a neighbor like this?? Seriously, these videos are a great idea...a lot easier sometimes than understanding written instructions. Might be a good idea for people to post videos of their repairs, if possible, so novices like myself can really see how these jobs are done. Thanks for a great lesson.

youtube is chock full of them
go youtube. click search.
and this is google video. same deal.

they are losing money big time, hope they last.
video servers dont come cheap. nor the bandwidth.

updated my hard to find parts page.

and has , part numbers , blowup diagram and video link.
ask questions CODYJ.

the seal usually goes bad cuz he bearing is shot.
pulling the bearing can wreck the bearing so it is not reusable.
and the bearing must come out , to get to the outer seal.

watch the vid. pretty much covers this diff. job.

if you take axle to the machine shop they will do a great job. and make the project much easier.

how to purchase parts

look at end of this page.

That garage looks like mine, chock full, only he has a lift and that is on my wish list.

For what they are worth I never reuse the bearings, just crack them off and install all new..

Great Vid...

I do not advocate of shot gunning or guessing or working with out tools/meters/scopes
but I will help you the best I can! I can't see or hear/feel your motor, so consider my answers, in that light.

There are 2 diagnostic paths, one with tools and one without! Please advise which path you wish to take?
