Yep, it sure does. That is, as long as there's life left in it and it's not rotten. Generally the velcro that hold the flaps deteriorates before the rest of it. If the tops in good shape, you can have it off of there in about 10 minutes.

Yes, pretty similar to the jeeps. Although, not all tops are created equal.

Some tops will have roll-up side windows, open pop-top over the front, and zip-out rear window. Others, like the BesTop only have the pop-top and removable rear window.

Here's the install instructions for the BesTop.

I have the BesTop and it works pretty good... just noisy and drafty like any other convertible top. Don't notice in town driving, just on the highway.

First thing I think is to see if top is original to car or a replacement. If original (which I have) top can get pretty crusty. The side windows which fold in to the top and then roll up are very brittle and prone to cracking. Same with rear window. It is easy to split the original window when rolling. Aside from that (especially if top has not been maintained...like mine), this '10 minute on and off' that people talk about, is quite beyond my capability. I live in an area where rain can come up pretty quickly, and therefore have only used the sunroof part for the last few years. I have NEVER been able to put this top on in 10 minutes. Old zippers stick, the top shrinks somewhat so you have to stretch it to get it back on. Fingers really sore when finally done (at least mine were). I was lucky to get a replacement recently (which is probably a Bestop, as the material is much lighter and more supple). An 18 year old convertible top is an adventure, at best.....

Oops! Sorry! You're right, taking it off is no problem...folding an 18 year old top...well, maybe. Putting it back on is quite another story....
