combo switch is bad.

head/lights and parking lamps are all hot at all times circuit (safety)
so if the switch fails closed you get light. 24/7 or till battery dies.

pull steering wheel.
'pull combo.

some can be fixed in car , if you can get switch apart insitu.

a deft touch, that takes,,,,,

find a spare at wrecking yards. new is $$$$

all switches can be bypassed

procecure.

pull wire that feeds park from down stream side of combo switch main conn.

take wire , and run it to SPST toggle switch (or any that you fancy)
now wire it to the new switch (whereever) and put other side to , tail fuse.

go to same fuse that old wires go now.

tell exact car will give exact schematic and a new drawing just for you.

most just find a wrecked doner car. but this works too.

give me (please)

year,
model, motor size 1.6 right and valve count 8 or 16 , and tranmssion type.
and number of doors. this really helps. 4wd or 2wd?
all drawings are indexed by those parameters.

see my sig.?

thanks pal. you're doing a great job taking care of us technically-challenged. i actually got lucky and bought a used combo switch on ebay for $60 shipped. 96, 16v, 4x4. i may even be able to handle replacing it myself. thanks again. jason...

lots of variables. No profile, so will guess a t 95
year car ?

cruise , tilt wheel. , DRL, and country ?

95 shows. uSA, Master PL

2 combo switchs, reg. and cruise.

the question is the connnector,
does it pick up pins in the diff harness?
i dont see custom harness, so i must pick up extra pins for cruise.

best i can figure.
BINGO found the connector drawing.
the main conn. is the same (includes canadian DRL) and has seperate connector for cruise.

your new switch will work, i think.

hope that helps

fill out your profile, and it gets way easier.
country , and car spec. no personal data.
