Default bought this jeep used

i know it's not a jeep but that's what we say in the caribbean.

they tell me it's a 96-97 vitara sport.

I want to replace the part that goes on top of the engine where the spark plugs and sockets are. Mechanic speaks spanish, is not giving me the name of the part- just pointing and telling me to get it.

help...

I have family in NC. Best place to find and buy said part?

I really appreciate this...tanks.

Default forgot...

I am in the British Virgin islands, Tortola, not sure where the vehicle came from to begin with. ALso, I didn't know that a vehicle could have two years like they are telling me, 96/97. can you clarify that for me if you know?

tanks...

engine year is 4 digit of engine serial number.

G16L where L is the code for year. "T" = 96

Battery - Batería o Acumulador

Coil - Bobina o Transformador

Distributor - Distribuidor

Points and Condenser - Platino-Condensador (you do not have those)

Ignition Module - Módulo de ignición electrónico (newer cars mid 70ish and above)

I actually think the "mechanic" is talking about the cylinder head. That's the only part I know of that has spark plugs going into it.
