The first thing I'd do is open the door. Grab the doors at the bottom (below the handle) and lift up on it. If it moves, the hinge pins are likely bad and need replaced. If when you close the door, it hits the striker plate on the rear jam, I'd say the hinge pins are bad. If they aren't loose, read on.
Open the door. Looks specifically at the striker plate on the center post, and the latch mechanism on the door.
Are they worn?
Do they appear to have moved? If so, re-adjust them UP.
Do things look worn out? If so, replace them.
If all looks OK, read on.
Open the door. Look at the hinges. Find a good place to put a mark on the hinge, and where the hinge meets the door opening. Place marks on the side of the hinges closest to the drivers seat, and on the tops. After marking both hinges, loosen each bolt, then loosly snug it. Do this to all bolts.
Next you'll want a couple wooden or plastic shims. Slightly thicker than the gap at the bottom now. Or you can use a pry-bar with tape wrapped around it (avoids scratching/chipping paint) to lift it up.
Remember, you want the hinge bolts just loose enough to be able to lift the door and move it up on the frame of the car ( DON'T LOOSEN THE BOLTS ON THE DOOR ITSELF)
Hopefully I make sense.
