Default Will a grand vitara tow bar fit a 94vitara?

just looking for a towbar on ebay and i have come across a grand vitara one going cheap-ish?! just wondering if it would fit my 1994 vitara jlx without modification? quick reply please so i dont miss item cheers x

Best way to know is measure youre frame rail width in the front. Then find a grand vitara and measure the frame rail width. You'll end up having to do some type of modification regardless. IE: drill holes at the least.

You could ask the seller to measure the frame rails of the one it came off of also.

IMHO, I really doubt that tow bars are made for specific vehicles. Most, if not all of them have a pivot point close to the coupler so they adjust to different widths.

I have a Harbor Freight towbar, and I just looked up two on eBay, all of them can be spread to any width, so it is hard to imagine that it wouldn't fit your car.

I used mine on a Astro Van, which had a solid front bumper to bolt it to, but nice heavy tags bolted to the frame rails would work even better.
