Default 94 Geo Tracker that I bought last week.

I paid $1,100 for it. It has about 120,000 miles and is 4X4. Is been parked on my garage and not a single drop of oil on the floor.

We are gutting it out to Herculiner the interior for my son to take to Minnesota.

Good basic platform. Just needs polish, TLC, and a few missing pieces.
I didn't know they were still putting the 1.6L 8v in the '94 Trackers.

Is that a nasty KLR600 in the background?

Well, is a 88 KLR 250 that I bought brand new in 89 while I was stationed in Hawaii. It has 8,000 miles on it. It was in storage for about 5 years and needs some fixing. Tires are rotted, tank was left with fuel and is gummed up, the tank is rusted on the inside... is going to be my next project. The engine moves freely. The sad part is that fell on my wife's 07 Beetle by the door so put a dent and scratch mark I still feeling so bad !

The Tracker is my son's 1st car. Does not smokes, does not drips oil, tranny shifts smooth, no grinding noises, no rust, has like 3 small dents, all lights work, no Engine Light on, cranks on the 1st try, all the doors and hood aligns perfect, the Rag Top is in great shape but the back window was broken and my friend is fixing it for me, the seats are not ripped except the driver side by the seam has like a 2 inch tear.

I think the oil on the engine is from a leaky valve cover gasket, but as I said before, does not drips any at all.

Just need a good wash, new paint and new wheels.

I am going to Herculiner the Outside too, on Red color. That Pink-Purple has to go !

I just bought the Herculiner Black last night, I had to order the Red one on line. The Red one was like $150 for a gallon/kit and has the UV protection already on the mix. Black does not, but was like $86 a GL/kit

Hey, do us all a favor and see if you can capture photo documentation on that Herculiner project.

I'd love to see how to do that, and how it turns out!
