Default where do cv axels usally break

So I have a question for all the hardcore wheelers out the where do the cv's break. I haven't broke one yet(knock on wood) I hear that there usally the frist thing to break on the front end.

Also witch side breaks more often?

Any imput would be great for all us looking to build stronger 4x4.

That little nub on the front diff, where it bolts to the crossmember is pretty weak, two of my buggys have the front diff chained to c member.I doubt they have the power to twist an axel that wasnt ready to go anyway, meby cranked full lock, pulling stumps

I broke a few cv shafts before I broke the third member like obradleyo did. The cv shafts start to clunk before they go most of the time. as for the third member its too late when they go at least thats what mine did. Thats the whole reason I'm doing a sas on my tracker plus i want it higher so i can go thru more crap.

the newer front axles are much tuffer, iron.
the alum ones are really for light duty , work in snow and ice.
