Default Sierra and Vitara front diff carrier question

Are the 22 spline Vitara front diffs the same as the 22 spline Sierra front diffs? Just talking about the carrier, mainly the spider gears. I'm interested to know if a PowerTrax Lockrite 1510 will fit in a Vitara 22 spline front..

http://richmondgear.com/powertrax/suzukilr.pdf
Thats the Lockrite list, under Samurai it lists 1986 to 1988 - 22 spline - 1510

http://www.arb.com.au/resources/pdf/...tion_chart.pdf
ARB's list seems to say that is Sierra and Vitara front diffs are the same size for 22 spline model.

Anyone know?

Sorry to say I don't know for sure, but I would contact the vendors directly. I'm sure they could answer that for you. On a side note, it seems the trackick/vit aluminum front diff housing is a big issue for alot of ppl, it tends to break under heavy use/offroading etc. There is a mod where ppl use a sammy steel housing & modify it to fit trackick front mount & install the trackick carrier into it. It also stands up to lockers better from what I've read. Cmays07 recently posted about his broken front diff, & his pics look alot like others who have had similar experience. This site tends to be more OEM repair & not as much into the modding end of things. Here's a link that may help:

Sick of broken Kick front diffs? Try this .
