Unhappy explaine more

i own a 1998 suzuki sidekicksport.the problem that i have is when i turn on the a/c it only work on the last two speed.someone did give me some advice but it's kind unclear.i pulled out the that black small box witch locate near the blower behind the glove box i swap it out with another i still have the same problem.the second problem that i'm having is that i have no power going on my master window switch.the third question is i feel a vibration when ever the car decelerate i had it look at i was told that there's was a play on the drive shaft so i wonder is this a common problem for this type of vehicle

the ac only kicks in , if power goes to fan
if resistor block opens UP, on any speed , the fan dies.
when fan dies for any reason , AC clutch is diabled. (AC amp functional logic)

whY:
easY. why ice up the evaporator ? now its plugged in ice , short order and no air at all.

IMHO.

yes, common with all cars with single speed motor.
or cars with out 3 phase AC , motors (100% electronic motors) called Variable frequency drive motors in the commercial sector.

ours is the Jules Vern type. ( i love em)
Battery >>> resistor >>>>> motor.

pick a resistor. with switch.

common fail.

the resistor runs hot, and has a finite life.

could be worse, the variable freq. controller bad for $1000

this is a resistor block

it uses the air box to keep it from overheating.
a cute trick really.

same place on 98 sport, just looked.

Default another question

my sidekick has a vibration.my problem is i can't figure it out if it's coming from the front tire or somewhere else.the vibration always kick's in when the vehicle start to decelarate.t's driving me crazy but is there bearing in the front tire that may cause this.

you going to throw vibration analysis on top of A/C
ouch. IMHO. grin......

start a post. please.

the front of the FSM has a Huge section called vibration analysis.
it is very difficult to do .

It could be lots of things.

try 2wd, try 4wd, try all gears. try coasting fast or slow, try inspecting the bearings up front like the maintenance chart shows. 15k inspection period. (little grease)
