Are you actually overheating (temp gauge maxed out and steam coming from the overflow)? If not, I too would suspect combustion gases leaking in to the coolant side of the house.

Do you ever see white smoke (steam) expelled from the tailpipe?

You can use a coolant system pressure tester that adapts to the radiator fill opening to test for leaks.

ok yea did that i think iv got it sorted now had it running for 30min and it went fine will take for a test drive today
