Default Exterior Window Weatherstrips RE:Where to get?

Hi Folks,

I'm looking for the exterior window weatherstrips for the doors of a 1998 Sidekick (2 door). I just received some that I bought on eBay, and they were for a 4 door. Go figure. The listing didn't say anything about being for a 4 door. At any rate, I have checked places like;

Auto Weatherstripping - Weatherstrip Connection
steelerubberproducts.com
SoffSeal Weatherstripping & Rubber Details

No luck at any of them.

My question is, are they available anywhere aside from the dealerships? They really wanna hose ya on prices ($68.00)

Appreciate any help.

Part Numbers
(R) - 83810-65A00
(L) - 83820-65A00

yes, and id made the same mistake.

they deleted the word X doors on all listing world wide. stupid huh.

the said they'd try to find them for me , no calls yet.

The brand is "Replacmentment (tm)" and it think they are no longer made and at
new old stock status.

thanks for sharing , now i know , others have same issue.

cheers.

notice the ad. it is WRONG. it fails to say DOORS? 2 or 4.

these do not fit 2 door kicks.

when you get them they are labled. 4door on the bag.

in fact doing a globle ww search nets the same dumb ads that are all wrong.

i filed a complaint with them saying, HEY tell the doors count so we can stop wasting our time and shipping 2 times
gee.

you have 2 chioces.
dealer ,or the above.

used,i dought it on seals.

the dealer has them. ( above parts are , NOS , "new old stock" and no longer made)
so good luck getting 2 door and no one else makes them.

stocked at GM and SUZ only.
$60 to $75 each. diff, price at every dealer ,as per usual.

what is full spec on santana, never seen one?
i looked up Japan built. E01 market 3 Santana, there are 4 diff. santana.
it has same number for 2door. (cept 1)

type 1 is diff.
and same as mark E-III Santana. 2dr

as is true for all sidekicks, you need the body tag data for any body parts.
lots of variance in body there are..

the MARk E-III newer santana in 2d uses same number as above.

it looks like there was a production change on the first santanas.
complex. it is. body work and out of my league.
this information is all SUZ PN listings based.

The final outcome of getting sent the wrong weatherstrips involved three calls and a week of waiting for an RMA to send it back. All said and done, they didn't contact me with the RMA, but they did refund my money back to my account. I guess it was a waste of their time.

Lesson learned on my part. Check.....and check again before making an order!!
