rear stock door holds rear hatch ( ive only seen one brand so can speak for all)
mine:
75lbs. (guess)
the top fits into top bow.
the metal bow has a knife edge, the fiberglass top has leading edge channel
this locks the top on naturally.
then there are 2 cam lock devices behind rear seat , belt towers.
1: open door. rear.
2: release cams;
3: slide top rear 2 inches.
4:lift it off.
easy as pie. best is 2 ppl.
you never said what you are attempiting to do, that will help so much.
are you moving the top , from car A TO CAR B , AT POINT OF SALE?
those top behind top frame are Screw in it. it 4 screws then lift it.
Agree it 75 pounds I carry myself and pray that I don't bend fiberglass. Got for $50
What paint I should use? It kind fade due sun burn and how i fix fiberglass on corner it look like someone hammer hit. It not hole just surface show white mesh.

To repair small damage use a very small boat repair kit --you can get one just about anywhere.( cheap)
As for paint ---cheap spay can or proper automotive paint. The differance being quality and price.
If It were mine I would get some paint rubbing compound (looks like rust coloured floor wax) and simply remove old oxidation off paint It's like like car wax and just removes crap and fadeing off paint. This stuff is very easy to use and it really doesn't take long to do.All that left is small damaged area. this can be touched up with small bottle of touch up paint or arisol.Or if really cheap, like me, cover repair with a CAA sticker
but i think my response is for the most common.
and yes, boat repair section of ACE hardware has it all.
resins, harnders, cloth, and even gel coat patch.
then prime it and paint it.
must be stripped of all waxes. first.
as previous poster so clearly states.
boat store. ACE, even home Depot , maybe.
