most dont know it ,but this car can get 40mpg if you take off CAT and retune ECU for dynamic AFR, when at cruise, car goes to lean burn mode.
but drops lean mode that if you move Throttle fast . (going to OEM stock mapping)
I did this with dual fuel maps on my megasquirt. and it does work.
but is not legal here. ( id did it ,not in USA )
lean burn works perfect but is not compatable with CAT con's for 2 reasons.

we waste tons of fuel due to that goffy CAT converter. tis true.
some day we will wish we had all the fuel back....

Alright guys i got through a tank, and i got about 23 mpg and thats on the highway to the trail and the highway home and highway speeds where around 70-75 mph. She did great on the trail too. Just needs a small lift to stop the rear tires from rubbing at full articulation. they rub on the inside of the fenders. But she climbed great. Even out climbed a jeep. so next stop will be a 2 inch coil lift, and some nice homemade bumpers for her.

That look almost exact to my Uncle's 95 geo. He have blue.

Did engine struggle to spin that huge tires?


Today I got 30.5 mpg by stay 3,200 rpm for 200 miles trips. Got 252 miles out 8.23 gals is that good for stock geo.

94 Geo Tracker 4wd 5 speed manual 2 doors.
96,200 miles and I get 27 mpg all times BEST mpg was 31.5 by stay 55-60 mph on highway
