Default WOuld this cruise control work? Found for $94

Well for some reason my Aunt call me if I could install cruise control on her chevy Astro van

so I check website where she order. Couldn't believe $94 Audiovox Electronic Dash-mount Cruise Control : JC Whitney: Auto Parts & Accessories

Question would that work with my 94 geo tracker and 97 suziki X90?

I want cruise control so I could get good mpg but it so hard to keep 60 mph with foot vary position to keep 60 mph.

My Uncle want too so I need know if it will work with geo tracker.

check out the vendor , actual maker of the unit , not JCW.
they have a web page. (google it ,easy)

they will tell you what you need.

it will mechanically connect to the throttle. , brack lamps, power. and will need a RPM attachment.
some have a clamp (better ones ) that clamp to the drive shaft.
you add a magnet ring to drive shaft and a sensor is places near.
this is done on rear boss of 4wd box.
this becomes VSS.

the 2 hard parts are throttle connection and VSS.

vss = vehicle speed sensor.

the throttle deal must be done with care,as you wouldnt want the throttle to jam.

cheers.

Default OP...

In the past Audiovox was made by Dana corp, who also was building OE...

If you can find a vss and a tach signal, brake switch, constant 12v, switched, etc. you will have no problem.

If you search, you may find a stalk to replace your factory; it's only 4 wires o control.

They come w/ hardware and brackets of several types to attach to linkage.

Works supisingly well; I've had factory cruises that did not work as well.
I had an aftermarket company and we put these in @ new car dealers 20 years til they all started coming w/it.
