91 sidekick 4X4 Transmission Problems

Hey all -


CONFUSED HERE !!!

REAL strange thing just happened. - Changed transmission fluid in my 91 sidekick and replaced everything correctly and now shift it into any gear and NOTHING - It's like it's in Neutral -

It's a 4X4 and tried changing from 2wd to 4wd and the same thing _ ZIP !!

I think it was the 1st fluid change as the Suzu only has 68000 on it. Folks Motorhome tow car and I bought it from them 3 years ago.

What the hell could have happened to make the tranny just Stop.??

I was thinking the Filter clogged with Old Fluid residue? OR ??

It never slipped or gave any indication it was going out.

Any ideas anyone?

can you at least tell us which of 3 tranny's

5sp, 3sp, 4sp. mt,at,at.

only hint is filter. so AT.

you never said.
how much you took out.
what method , full flush or drop pan , add , same amount back in. + filte.

did you check the level per manual. hot, shift many times, the stop at park and check.

not over filled, not under filled.
and did you use Dextron III or higher.?
