Default V8 Swap

Hello I'm new to the site, but have been driving a '95 Tracker 1.6L 16V 5spd for a good year now. Just recently my friends father gave me a 305 small block, and a 700R4 tranny, I was wondering if anyone had any tech tips on how much cutting and banging would need to be done, and believe me I know its going to be a project so don't hold back and tell me everything, I just want to find the quickest and less stressful to tackle this project. It'll be the ultimate sleeper, and it'll the only one of its kind, in my area at least. After this no one will talk bad about the tracker, but in all seriousness, any advice will be greatly appreciated. One more thing, I know what is needed for everything else, i just need advice on the fabrication. Thanks

Hi, Ive seen a few sukis and trackers with V8s. Many have the same features such as replace the front end with a chopped and quatered camaro frame- front end or replace entire frame. Must replace rear end. Will only be two wheel drive. No ecu-means strait carbs-no fuel injection. Will not pas any emition test. Uasual cost is $5,000 .

Never done it myself but since you asked, that is the info I got talking to a few people.
In a nutshell you end up puting a traker/suki shell on a completly different frame.and power train. The only thing that ends up being a zuki/tracker is the shell ,nothig else.

Hope this helps.

just remove body and put it on your favorite , 4x4 chassis.

ive see an Pinto body on a full size 4x4 Pick up chassis. a sight to behold.

why spend forever making a 100hp drive train and suspension love too much weight and power. preplexing, ( i know ,cuz its there...) hehehe

this is common practice in Montana , wreckers. they do some funny stuff up there.
and I like it. fun to see them do their ART.

IMHO.
but some folks do things just for the fun and experience.
what else is there..??
