Lightbulb I Need Your Opinion!!

I am a proud owner of a 1994 Suzuki Sidekick JLX 1.6 liter 4wd Automatic. I recently posted a thread about a coil spacer lift on my sidekick. I did get a lot of very good ideas about how to go about it including switching the shocks out for a pair of 91 caprice classic shocks with some minor modification. However, i would not like to do any modifications i was wondering if i could put the 2" coil spacers in the rear with the stock shocks? Do i have to get shocks with longer travel? Also, i heard that you could put the spacers in with the stock shocks but they would always be "topped out". What would be the problem with always having them topped out? If you could answer any or all of these questions i would be very great full.

Thanks
Brad

ok first off you dont have to do any mods if you change your rear shocks to the ones out of a 91 ford crown vic. not a chevy caprice. I did this and they bolt right in. second if you run your old shocks and they are topped out then you will have no shock travel so it will be a rough ride and the axles will be limited on there movement. I hope this helps

thanks alot for the help!! Do you know the cheapest place to buy the strut spacers and the coil spacers? Do they come in a package anywhere? Also, I heard that most people do a 2" in the bach on a 1.5" in the front and it levels it out nicely.. is that what you would recomend?

ah yea i have stock shocks and struds and i put a 2 1/4" lift in front and 2 3/4 in back
and its still a bit high in the front but i made my own spacers at work and i haven't had any problems with the shocks other then i think there old and should be a bit stiffer
but thats because i pull a trailor once or twice a month
