Fuel Pump I think

so i was driving my 90 geo tracker, 1.6L 8V , 4x4 over a set of railroad tracks and it died. Got it safely parked in an aproach and all the while the tack wasnt working after the tracks(dont know if the other gauges were, wasnt paying attention to them) So now it cranks but wont fire. The fuel pump isnt buzzing so im going to take it out and see if its working right away. I have a bad feeling this isnt my problem though. If anybody has any better ideas as to what is wrong please tell me. Also if somebody has a wiring diagram for the fuel system too, that would be awesome.
