90 Kick muffler question

I want to change the (large) stock muffler and put something smaller on it. The problem I am having is most performance mufflers are 2 inch. Can the 2 inch muffler be adapted to fit without loss of back pressure??

well i would say it will be ok. I took my cat off and i put a 2" cherry bomb on mine. runs good but i'm sure i lost mpg's but its off road only so i dont care about mpg's. but like I said i think you will be ok.

I put a little straight thru glass pack on my 95 and the only difference it made was the sound. Now it sounds like my wifes miata. love it
